At this meeting, Ji Guangnan, a librarian from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Government's Literature and History Research Center, was specially invited to give a keynote speech, and discussed with teachers and students of the curriculum department on issues related to major topics of the Base. Researcher Ji Guangnan is the editor-in-chief of the junior high school edition of the national unity and progress education textbook "The Great Unity of the Chinese Nation" compiled by the Ministry of Education, and the editorial board member and editor of the textbook "Introduction to the Chinese National Community". He is deeply involved in the study of ethnic issues and the construction of ethnic theories, and is well versed in editing concepts of teaching materials. This meeting was chaired by Professor Chen Shuangye, and experts from the Department of Curriculum, including Dong Beifei, Lei Hao, Shen Xiaomin, Shi Yuchen, and Zhang Xiaolei, attended the seminar and exchange activities.
On the morning of July 26, Professor Ji Guangnan gave an expert report. Based on his previous experience in ethnic theory policy research and teaching material management, combined with the actual participation in the compilation of relevant teaching materials, he discussed the origin and process of compiling the national unity and progress textbook, and the theoretical support behind it. , and made wonderful reports on the country’s major concerns and other aspects.
After the report, the atmosphere at the venue was warm. The participating experts had an in-depth and detailed discussion on how to further improve the integrated construction of the curriculum and teaching material research for the awareness of the Chinese nation's community based on their respective research fields and interest.
On the afternoon of July 26, the "Advisory Report Workshop" conducted an in-depth discussion on the writing and practical application of advisory reports focusing on the awareness education of the Chinese nation's community.
As a special guest, researcher Ji Guangnan shared his rich experience and successful cases in writing advisory reports, pointing out that advisory reports should closely focus on the country's major strategic needs and highlight problem orientation. At the same time, attention should also be paid to the readability and operability of the report, so that decision-makers can quickly grasp the core points and make scientific decisions.
After nearly three hours of lively discussions and exchanges, the participants in the workshop not only enhanced their knowledge and understanding of the work of writing advisory reports, but also initially formed a series of valuable opinions and suggestions. Some members of the major project "Research on the Construction of Primary and Secondary School Textbooks from the Perspective of National Knowledge Management" of the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Key Research Base also participated in the workshop, which effectively promoted the relevant research and results writing of the topic.
