In order to promote academic exchanges and experience sharing in the field of curriculum and instruction research, and better promote the in-depth development of basic education curriculum reform, the Institute of Curriculum and Instruction of East China Normal University, a key research base for humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, focuses on the major base project of the "14th Five-Year Plan"- "Core Competencies oriented Classroom Learning Research ", and plans to hold the "22nd Shanghai International Curriculum Conference: Core Competencies and Curriculum Instruction Reform" in Wujiang District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province. 8. Paper Requirements

✦ In order to facilitate the editing of conference proceedings, the deadline for submission of participating papers is August 31, 2024 (paper submission has ended). After the conference, the organizing committee will select and edit outstanding papers from the conference proceedings, and give the authors two volumes of papers after official publication to express its gratitude. If any author does not agree to formal publication, please make a special statement in a prominent position on the cover of the submitted paper.

✦ Paper format: Please refer to the latest paper format specifications published by "Global Education" journal; the paper can be in Chinese or English (6000-8000 words), please attach a Chinese abstract of about 200 words and an English abstract of about 200 words, and indicate the author's contact information.

✦ Submission method: Please send the electronic manuscript of your paper to iciecnu@163.com, the email address designated by the conference. The email should be named as "author name + paper title + division 1/2/3/4/graduate session".
