The 23rd Shanghai International Curriculum Conference is themed "AI+STEM: Curriculum and Textbook Development Forum", focusing on the hottest issues of the times, including artificial intelligence, science and engineering education, mathematics education, and curriculum and textbook development. It is planned to invite well-known experts from top domestic and foreign universities to attend the conference and share their visions. The conference will help to lay out forward-looking research in the fields of artificial intelligence education, science and engineering education, and mathematics education, promote the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence technology and STEM education, and provide an opportunity for East China Normal University to jointly tackle major theoretical and practical issues in the fields of artificial intelligence education and STEM education with top domestic and foreign platforms. ✦ Invited experts: famous experts and scholars in related fields at home and abroad to give conference academic speeches and sub-venue reports.

✦ Participants and conference fees: 150 delegates are open to the public, and the conference fee is RMB900 (graduate students register with their student ID cards, and the conference fee is RMB500). Lunch will be included during the meeting, and the rest of the meals and round-trip travel expenses are excluded.

Call for papers

✦ Participants should submit conference papers that fall within the scope of the conference theme.

✦ In order to facilitate the editing of the conference proceedings, the deadline for submission of conference papers is set as September 15, 2025. After the meeting, the organizing committee will select excellent papers from the conference proceedings, edit them uniformly, and send two papers to the authors after formal publication as a gesture of gratitude. If any author disagrees with the formal publication, please indicate this in a prominent position on the cover of the submitted paper.

✦ Paper format: Please refer to the latest paper format specifications published by Global Education magazine; the paper can be in Chinese or English (6000-8000 words), please attach a Chinese abstract of about 200 words and an English abstract of about 200 words, and indicate the author's contact number and email address.

✦ Submission method: Please send the electronic version of the paper to the conference designated email address: iciecnu@163.com, and the email should be titled as "Name + Paper Title + Subforum 1/2/3/4/5".
