Global Education is a journal issued by the Institute and administered by the MoE. As a member of China Periodicals Phalanx and a CSSCI searchable, it has a citation rate that has been among the tops for many years. Our Director Emeritus, Professor ZHONG Qiquan works as the chief editor of Global Education, and Professors CUI Yunhuo, ZHAO Zhongjian and LI Yanbing are associate editors.
The former name of this journal is Education of Foreign Countries and it was changed to Global Education in 2001. Adhering to the mission of “Global Perspective and Local Practice”, the journal is dedicated to closely keeping track of theoretical advancement of educational research around the world and reporting latest achivements of China’s educational development, especially in the curriculum reform, thus giving service for researchers and educators.
Global Education has the following standing columns: Interviews of Experts, Quality Education and Curriculum Reform, Curriculum and Instruction, International Education, Educational Administration, Subject-specific Education, Moral Education, In the Schools, etc. Besides, the journal also set special columns occasionally about the current focus of the educational field.
