New Draft of Teacher Education Curriculum Standard Finished by ICI

The new daft of Teacher Education Curriculum Standard was finished by the faculties of ICI and submitted to the ministry of education during National Day.

Commissioned by Teachers Division of Ministry of Education, ICI assumed the responsibility of developing Teacher Education Curriculum Standard after the successful development of Standard for Curriculum Reform of Basic Education. Professor Zhong Qiquan is the leading expert of the research group for this project, and several other faculties of ICI are core members. The study officially began in 2005 and have experienced years of collecting, careful analysis and response for comments or recommendations from hundreds of well-known experts and scholars, front-line principals and teachers, teacher college students and government officials.

The modification and improvement is in the proceedings of the official promulgation of National Education Reform and Long-term Development Plan Outline (2010-2020) and the National Education Work Conference, based on the recent relevant opinions and suggestions collected by the research group of project. After two days of warm and in-depth discussion, the group came to a consensus and finished the new daft of Teacher Education Curriculum Standard.
