Professor Brent Davis, from University of Calgary, invited ICI and made a speech named Concept Learning: Situations Design for Subject Knowledge of Teachers. Professor Zhang Hua chaired the speech and Dr. Yu Jie, from Louisiana State University, translated the speech. 
In the report, Professor Brent Davis firstly introduced the general meaning of complex thinking and analyzed several special problems of education. Next he spoke of concept learning problems, and thought concept learning methods should normally be divided into five layers: the significance, scenery (landscapes), analogy sex limit and concept fusion, teaching problem solving. The rich content combining multiple wonderful case, let all the faculty and students present promoted to a better understanding of the content. Moreover, Professor Brent Davis proposed changes to teachers from directly telling the answer to letting students practice to explore and seek change and encouraging participation, meaning creation.
