Professor Wu Gangping Attended the 12th Cross-Strait Symposium for the Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan and Made Keynote Speeches

Professor Wu Gangping, as a representative of the mainland, attended the 12th Cross-Strait Symposium for the mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, which was held in Taipei University of Education, and made keynote speeches named Structure Levels and Key Relationships of Curriculum Development Mechanism in Mainland during Nov.11 to Nov.17.

Professor Wu Gangping analyzed the hierarchical structure characteristics shown in curriculum development mechanism in unified national curriculum framework in the mainland from Chinese cultural perspective. He discussed multiple roles and complicated relationships between different levels, like the dominant, auxiliary, reinforcement, compensation, supervision and adjustment, especially inner contradictions and conflicts between system and idea, management and evaluation, practical needs and cultural traditions.
