Professor Wu Gangping Investigated UCLA Lab School

Professor Wu Gangping of ICI investigated UCLA Lab School on February 10, 2011. With the introduction of the Lab School by its technology and communications department director Dr. Sharon Sutton, Professor Wu attended its Educator Day and visited its classroom teaching and school management with visitors from other schools or districts. During the investigation, ideas on educational and teaching issues were exchanged and discussed.

What’s more, professor Wu has ascertained the program plan to carry out case study on Lab School. He respectively interviewed Professor Val Rust, John McNeill and Wellford Wilms to discuss the historical conventions and nowadays development, missions and functions, curriculum and instruction, teacher development and educational ethics of American lab schools. On the other hand, the primary experience, main problems and challenges, and trends of reform and development of China’s lab schools was scheduled to combed.
