Prof. Yang Xiangdong Published in Asia-Pacific Education Researcher

The paper, “The Effect of Choosing Key Versus Ordinary Schools on Student’s Mathematical Achievement in China”, which first author is Associate Prof. Yang Xiangdong and corresponding author is Prof. Ren Youqun, has been published in the SSCI journal,Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, as the staged achievement of “Research on the Relationship between Learning and Curriculum” conducted by Prof. Ren.

In order to analyze the external factors of school education quality and student achievement, this study has tested the influences of key and ordinary schools to student achievement through hierarchical linear model and other statistics methods. Results conclude that students has better achievement in key schools than ordinary counterparts.
