Prof. Wang Zuhao Published Many Papers in International Journals

In recent years, Prof. Wang Zuhao, adjunct researcher of ICI, and his research group have published many papers in international journals of science education.

In 2012, their research achievement, “Students’ Cognitive Reasoning of Graphs: Characteristics and Progression”, was published in International Journal of Science Education. The author of this paper developed “Graphs Reading Ability Test” and used this examination to assess the difference between students in Grade 9, 10 and 11on cognitive reasoning of graphs in China. And this study revealed the characteristics of students’ graphs reading ability. In the second year, his group published paper, “Status of Integrated Science Instruction in Junior Secondary Schools of China: an Exploratory Study”, in the same journal.

In 2013, Prof. Wang and his group published their paper, “Chemistry Teachers’ Knowledge and Application of Models”, inJournal of Science Education and Technology. This study surveyed chemistry teachers’ comprehend, choice, construction and application of model during instruction. And the research put forward several enlightenments to improve teachers’ knowledge and application of models.
