POSTDOCTOR POSITIONS of Faculty of Education East China Normal University

East China Normal University (ECNU) is a comprehensive research led university in China. It is one of the most prestigious universities in China and is supported by the national programs “Project 211” and “Project 985”. Education science is the key discipline of the University. It got sponsored by Shanghai municipal significant “Peak I” project in 2015, which provides a good opportunity for us to establish a platform for academic research and international collaboration. We are seeking candidates with outstanding accomplishments in research and scholarship in education science and related fields. We expect to hire at the assistant professor level, candidates at other ranks will also be considered. The successful applicants will join interdisciplinary teams to conduct frontier research in various fields, such as learning science focused on deep learning, curriculum development prioritizing core competencies, education theories and practices of school reform in Chinese context, macro education policy emphasizing equity and innovation. All research projects are encouraged to conduct with problem-oriented mix methods.
