ICI Signed Cooperation Agreement with the College of Education, Chung Cheng University of Taiwan

In order to strengthen the cross-strait academic exchanges and cooperation in the field of curriculum and instruction, Prof. Cai Qingtian, the director of the College of Education at Chung Cheng University, visited the Institute of Curriculum and Instruction(ICI) and had a meeting with Prof. Cui Yunhuo, the director of ICI. They held a signing ceremony for the inter-school cooperation between ICI and the College of Education of Chung Cheng University in the Wenke Building of ECNU. The ceremony presided over by the deputy director prof. Yang Xiangdong, prof. Wu Gangping, associate professor Wang Xiaoming, Dr. Huang Xiaorui, Dr. Xiao Sihan and Dr. Wang Tao attended the ceremony.

In his speech, Prof. Cui introduced the development history and achievements of ICI, and expressed admiration for the academic achievements of Prof. cai. They signed a memorandum of academic exchanges on behalf of the two sides, hoping to take this opportunity to promote cooperation in academic and personnel exchanges and social services.

Prof. Cai appreciated the academic strength of ICI in the field of curriculum research. He hoped to promote mutual visits and project cooperation between teachers and students through the signing of the agreement with ICI, so as to lay the foundation for inter-school cooperation.

Subsequently, Prof. Cai awarded Prof. Cui a certificate of honorary academician of the College of Education, Chung Cheng University, in recognition of his contribution to promote academic exchanges and cooperation between the two sides. Finally, they conducted in-depth discussion about the academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation, personnel training, etc.

Chung Cheng University is a famous comprehensive university in Taiwan. About 60% of the university's college is about humanities and social sciences. The university, together with Cheng Kung University, Sun Yat-sen University and Chung Hsing University of Taiwan, formed the Taiwan comprehensive university system. Founded in August 1999, the College of Education of Chung Cheng University is the first educational institute established in a comprehensive university in Taiwan.
