


On the morning of November 16th, Professor Ray Pecheone and researcher Chen Peiru, both from Stanford University made an academic report entitled “R&D and Application of Performance Evaluation”. The forum was presided over by Associate Professor Zhou Wenye from ICI. Professor Cui Yunhuo, Professor Yang Xiangdong and Associate Professor Wang Zhe attended the forum.

Professor Pecheone's team mainly shared the research and development experience of Stanford Evaluation, Learning, and Fair Center (SCALE) on teacher performance evaluation and student performance evaluation, and discussed with the attended teachers and students from the following three aspects:
1. Introduce SCALE's research and development methods and R&D principles for performance evaluation:
Targeting on important skills and knowledge
Evaluation for students and for learning
Trinity of curriculum, teaching and evaluation
Learning from doing

2. They used edTPA to share the research and development experience of teacher performance evaluation, and introduced the Kuishan project in cooperation with Taiwan.



3. They Shared the research and development experience of student performance evaluation, focused on the performance evaluation of STEM curriculum and the performance evaluation resource library on SCALE website (https://scale.stanford.edu).
