△January 6, 1999: Professors Zhong Qiquan, Cui Yunhuo and other experts of ICI deeply participated in the work of national curriculum reform

△July 13, 2001: Yuan Guiren, then vice minister of education, inspected ICI accompanied by President Wang Jianpan

△In 2003, ICI deeply participated in the national curriculum reform, took the lead in drafting the policy text of the outline of national basic education curriculum reform, and won the “Outstanding Achievement Award for Humanities and Social Sciences Research in Chinese Universities”

△October 27, 2003: the first International Curriculum Forum was held by ICI

△November 7, 2003: the World Curriculum and Instruction Series was published by the research group of ICI, the book series won the sixth National Book Award

△ In 2006: ICI deeply participated in the national teacher education curriculum reform and took the lead in drafting the policy text of national teacher education curriculum standards

△March 2009: ICI established the Teaching and Research Center of East China Normal University, which is the first and the only professional research institution in China

△December 25, 2014: ICI published the country’s first set of "New Standards-based Teaching Materials for Teacher Education"

△May 10, 2015: ICI started to cooperate with the True Love Dream Foundation

△June 8, 2016: ICI achieved excellence in the evaluation of key bases of humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities across the country for two consecutive times

△July 7, 2017: Tan Fangzheng, deputy director of the Social Science Department of the Ministry of Education, and the central media interview delegation came to ICI for investigation and guidance, they fully affirmed the construction of the base

△October 24, 2017: ICI set up an International Classroom Analysis Laboratory and established cooperation with the International classroom Research Center of the University of Melbourne

△November 24th, 2017: Andreas Schleicher, the education minister of OECD, the father of PISA testing, visited the Daxia forum and gave a keynote speech

△January 2018: ICI cooperated with Springer to plan and publish a book serie: Curriculum Reform and School Innovation in China

△January 2018: experts of ICI deeply participated in the national high school curriculum reform

△May 10, 2018: professor Kuhn of Columbia University, an internationally renowned scholar, was appointed as an honorary professor of East China Normal University and joined ICI

△May 14, 2018: ICI first initiated the system of collective visit of doctoral students in China, and carried out collective visit activities of doctoral students with Beijing Normal University

△September 10, 2018: ICI won the title- “The First Team of Strengthen Moral Education and Cultivate People Group in East China Normal University”

△December 22,2018: ICI was selected into the Top 100 CTTI University Think Tank list

△May 29th, 2019: ICI officially established the world’s first “International Research Center for Supplementary Tutoring”

△September 10, 2019: the research group of ICI won the first prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award for two consecutive times, and was received and commended by General Secretary Xi Jinping
