


Hello everyone, I'm glad to share with you “The next step of artificial intelligence in education”. This is a topic that we have been thinking, practicing and exploring for a long time. People have high expectations for artificial intelligence and they hope to enter the next era. Just as they expect to use water, lights, electricity and the network, they hope one day they will use artificial intelligence anytime, anywhere.



When we practice the combination of education and artificial intelligence, some people feel the model of “education + artificial intelligence” is cold and mechanical; while some find it warm, enthusiastic and potential.



Today, the screen is no longer static, as the cartoon shows, “You see what I want you to see” and “You create what I want you to create”. Under the new circumstances, do individuals still have the ability to embrace a new era actively? As teachers, the most important problem we need to consider currently is how to help students to explore further in this environment.



“Internet + Education” changes the scarcity of educational resources, rather than falling into the digital divide. Education with artificial intelligence can reshape the organization of information, but it can’t fall into the information cocoons.



It must be realized that the visible artificial intelligence today is still weak AI. We still need to deeply combine education with weak AI, and we still need to constantly mine the relevant data in specific application scenarios and constantly think about the algorithms behind it.



In the past two years, we have been making exploration in the field of classroom analysis. Cooperated wtih Professor Fang of Shanghai Jiaotong University, we have carried out various aspects of research and development. In the current stage of weak AI, making rules for machines is still needed.





In the era of artificial intelligence, we are constantly trying to open the black box of the classroom, which is quite different from the Internet Age. At the same time, when we expect artificial intelligence to understand a particular phenomenon or issue, we also ask ourselves whether we really understand the phenomenon or issue, and whether we are making reconstruction and doing value criticism.



There is still a large space for us to explore the application of artificial intelligence in education. Currently speaking, we should apply weak AI properly and insightfully. We need to stimulate our wisdom both individually and collectively, find learning methods and ways of educating people, and achieve more creative intelligent education.



The next step of artificial intelligence in education is to make education freer, rather than more competitive. And this enables learning more meaningful and creative, thank you!
